Mrs Macnamara 99/8 Vase

The ‘Mrs McNamara’ snowdrop puts on a fine show early in the New Year. It is a tall, upright plant with well-developed narrow glacous foliage at flowering time. Slender flowers are held well clear of the foliage and a small, rather slim ‘V’ marking can be found on the inner segment. The plant originated from Dylan Thomas's mother-in-law, Mrs McNamara! Alongside these dainty snowdrops, Nicola’s design also features alpine squill – the star-shaped blue flowers which leap and dance towards the top of the design, speckled with buds and stamen.
