Dance of the Bees - Master 49/2 Vase

The fourth design in a new collection of 12 monthly miniatures by designer Nicola Slaney. This fascinating series gives a glimpse of life in Britain’s hedgerows.

During the showery, and ever warming month of April, the British hedgerow starts to properly green up, and spring flowers emerge from beneath it. Bees are starting to visit the flowers after they emerge from their winter hibernation. Nicola has chosen the humble daisy, the flower of April, for her latest miniature of the month, which sees an active bee dancing around the flower’s white petals and golden centre.
