Stairway To Heaven 7/7 Vase

For many years Moorcroft has created designs of remembrance featuring poppies. However, very rarely do the service personnel whom we are remembering feature in a Moorcroft design. Exceptions to this have come in the form of Preparing to Scramble, a numbered edition plaque, by designer Paul Hilditch and Lest we Forget, a highly emotive numbered vase featuring soldiers in the battlefields of Europe, by Kerry Goodwin from 2018.

Six years on, and Kerry has created a new design, Stairway to Heaven, that once again sees the silhouettes of men surrounded by red poppies. As you rotate the vase the scene changes, with the soldiers amongst the flowering poppy fields. Above them the sun’s rays lead your eye to the top of the design where the eternal rays of light rain down on the men for eternity.

For each Stairway to Heaven vase ordered before Sunday 10th November 2024, Moorcroft will make a monetary donation to The Royal British Legion. The RBL was formed in 1921 to help members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families. Their support starts after one day of service and continues for life, long after service is over.
