Cupid's Arrow 7/3 Vase

Cupid’s bow is loosely depicted as a ring of russet-gold, whilst a quiver of arrows, whose wounds in the heart were said to inspire love or passion in Ancient Rome, have been discharged into pools of regal purples and virgin-white hearts. The heart shape itself may have been inspired by the shape of ivy leaves, which were associated with fidelity and eternal love. Today, Cupid’s Arrow is fired with the hope of art potters, that each recipient may enjoy the fruits of fine craftsmanship, together with love and hues that warm the heart.
