Snow Bunting 158/4 Vase

In the world of plants Moorcroft have discovered that names are often taken from other species and Snow Bunting is no exception. Vicky was delighted by the very fact that her beloved little Snow Bunting birds, who winter in England, with non-breeding males holding rusty patches on their white plumage, can be seen in these small cups of ivory-white crocus which share the same name. Rising from the base of the vase, chamois-coloured blooms, enhanced by a yellow heart and bright Christmas orange stamens, mirror their partners in the sky.
