Summer's Shoreline 49/2 Vase
On muddy seashores, estuaries, coastal mudflats and along the shorelines of the British coast, from April to July, English Scurvygrass can be found. As its unusual name suggests, this plant is full of Vitamin C, a deficiency of which causes the condition known as 'Scurvy' – something often associated with sailors in years gone by. Here the white flowers dance before a summer-blue ocean and a warm setting sun – a real tonic to any ailments brought on by a long winter and a lack of sunlight.
